Terms of Service
Last updated 1 November 2026
The agreement between your company and Ordo for using Ordo Cloud, Ordo On-site and this website.
The short version
- Try Ordo free for 14 days. No card is needed, and afterwards your workspace turns read-only until you choose a plan.
- Your data stays yours, and you can export it whenever you like.
- Use Ordo lawfully, and only for contacts you're allowed to keep.
- AI answers can be wrong, so check them before you rely on them.
Who this agreement is with
These terms are an agreement between you and Ordo ("Ordo", "we", "us").
"You" means the company or organisation that uses Ordo, and the people it invites. Whoever signs up for a workspace confirms they may accept these terms for their company. If you don't agree, please don't use Ordo.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data and is part of these terms.
The service
- Ordo Cloud: the CRM we host, used in your browser.
- Ordo On-site: the same CRM, installed on your own server under the licence below.
Ordo is in early access. We keep improving it, so features may change, and we will tell you in advance before removing anything important you rely on.
Accounts
- Give accurate details and keep your sign-in safe. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
- Each person needs their own account. Admins decide who joins and what each role can see.
- You must be at least 16 and using Ordo for work.
Free trial
Each company gets one free 14-day trial of Ordo Cloud, with every feature and AI included. No card is needed. AI use during the trial has a fair daily limit. When the trial ends, the workspace becomes read-only until an admin chooses a plan. Your data is kept, and you can still export it.
Plans and payment
- Cloud is billed per user, monthly or yearly, in advance, at the prices on our pricing page. Prices exclude taxes unless shown otherwise.
- Adding users is billed straight away for the rest of the period. Removing them takes effect at the next renewal.
- Plans renew automatically until an admin cancels. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
- Payments are not refunded for part-used periods, except where the law says otherwise.
- We will give at least 30 days' notice of any price change, and it applies from your next renewal.
- If a payment fails and isn't fixed within 14 days, the workspace becomes read-only until it is.
- On-site is a one-time payment by team size, free for up to 5 users, and includes 12 months of updates and email support. Updates after that are optional, and the version you have keeps working.
Your data
- You own everything you put in Ordo. You give us permission to store, process and display it only so that we can run Ordo for you.
- You're responsible for having the right to keep the people in your CRM there, and for following the privacy and anti-spam laws that apply to you.
- You can export your data at any time. If your company closes its account, it has 30 days to export before we delete the workspace.
- We never sell your data, and never use it to train AI models.
Fair use
Please don't:
- Use Ordo for anything illegal, harmful or deceptive.
- Use it to store data you have no right to keep.
- Try to get into other workspaces or our systems, or test their security without our written permission.
- Overload Ordo, or scrape or automate it beyond its normal features and limits.
- Copy, resell or reverse-engineer Ordo, or use it to build a competing product.
If an account puts Ordo or others at risk, we may pause it. We'll tell you why, and restore it once the problem is fixed.
AI features
Ask Ordo AI, AI call notes and company research write answers automatically, and they can be incomplete or wrong. Check anything important before acting on it or sending it to a customer. What the AI writes for you is yours to use.
Google, Microsoft and other services
When you connect a Google or Microsoft account, or another service, its own terms apply to that account. We aren't responsible for those services or for changes they make that affect syncing.
On-site licence
Buying Ordo On-site, or using the free version for up to 5 users, gives your company a licence to install it on servers you control and use it for the team size you paid for. The licence can't be transferred and isn't exclusive. Ordo On-site is closed source: you may not share, resell or publish it. The data on your server never comes to us, and you're responsible for its backups and security.
Availability and support
We work to keep Ordo Cloud running and backed up every day, but we can't promise it will never be interrupted. We plan maintenance for quiet hours where we can. Support is by email, and we aim to reply within one working day.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using Ordo and close your account at any time. We may end this agreement if these terms are seriously broken and the problem isn't fixed within 14 days of our notice, or straight away if the law requires it. If we ever close Ordo Cloud, we'll give at least 60 days' notice, a way to export everything, and a refund for any time you paid for and couldn't use.
Warranties
Ordo is provided "as is". As far as the law allows, we make no other promises, for example that it fits every purpose or will be free of errors.
Limits on liability
As far as the law allows:
- Neither side is liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, revenue or data the other side could have backed up.
- Ordo's total liability under this agreement is limited to what your company paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 100 if that is more.
Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
Claims about your data
If someone makes a claim against us because of data your company put in Ordo, or because Ordo was used against these terms, your company will cover the reasonable costs of that claim.
Changes to these terms
When these terms change, the date at the top changes too. For important changes, we'll email account owners at least 30 days before they take effect. If you keep using Ordo after that, you accept the new terms.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the country where Ordo is based. We'll first try to settle any disagreement by talking. If that doesn't work, the courts there will decide, unless the law where you are gives you the right to go to court there.
