Each opportunity has one page: the facts at the top, the stage bar under them, then who's buying and where it stands.

Lost asks why, if you want to say. Won asks how they'll pay.

How it works

  • The top line: company, amount, expected close (red once it's passed) and owner.
  • Stage bar: Discovery 10%, Proposal 50%, Negotiation 80%, then Won or Lost. The odds follow the stage.
  • People: the main contact and the buying committee, each with their part.
  • Where it stands: the next step, days in this stage, whether the close date moved, and the last contact.
  • Timeline: what's planned, and everything that happened, emails included.

When a deal is won

Pick how they'll pay: at once, 50 / 50, 30 / 40 / 30, three monthly payments, recurring, or your own split. Each payment gets a date, and what's due shows on Today's tasks until it's paid.

Currencies

A deal can be in the customer's currency, from about 160. Every total and dashboard shows in your reporting currency, set by an admin in Settings → Currency.

Good to know

Pushing a close date later is recorded, so the director sees which deals keep slipping.
